Your peer coaching sessions have been good, but you’d like some specific feedback on your coaching. You’d also like to expand your knowledge of coaching tools and the basics of building a business so that when you graduate you have the confidence to hit the ground running.
You’re certified as a coach, but you’re not sure what to do next. You might need more coaching hours to secure your ICF accreditation. Or perhaps you’re grappling with doubts - not yet convinced that you have what it takes to be a success. You’ve stayed in contact with a few peers, but it would be great to meet other coaches and continue learning.
You finished school a while ago and you’ve been doing okay. But you’d love to find some like-minded people to bounce ideas off of and collaborate with. You’ve found it daunting and a little lonely to do it on your own. You’d really love a community because there’s no one in your life who really gets what you want to create. And you need some energy to keep going.

The Goal to Coach Community is what we needed after we graduated from coaching school. Deanna didn’t start coaching people until two years after she graduated, and Chris side-gigged with a client here and there for the first couple years.
Both of us felt lost and weren’t sure how to start.
What we’ve both found over the last six years of building our businesses is that when we are in a community with colleagues, mentors, and fellow coaches, everything gets easier and more fun.
The Goal to Coach Community is more than an online place to ask questions. It’s where you’ll get all the things we wished someone had shared with us as we bushwhacked our way into entrepreneurship without a map.
You’ll receive monthly live education on coaching tools and modalities. You’ll get to witness real coaching sessions and practice your own coaching with dedicated feedback. You’ll gain more business tools and marketing strategies, including regular Live Q&A’s to discuss best practices in coaching and business building.
And best of all, it's your community. That means if there's something you want to experience, you can collaborate with group members to bring it to life!
This is not a make "seven figures in seven months" community. We’re not going to promise you a roster full of clients in 30 days.
Instead, this is a place to hone your craft and build your practice brick by brick. Because that’s how entrepreneurship really works.
This is where you’ll learn the skills of building a sustainable business for the long haul. It's also where you can improve your skills in coaching, knowing that the more value you create for your clients, the more money will come your way.
Goal to Coach is a space to practice your coaching, create the habits of a successful coach, and access the resources you need to create a business that feels authentic to you.
It’s also where you can get those questions answered that are keeping you awake at night.
How do I do group coaching?
What does a discovery call sound like?
What the heck is an enrollment process?
I think I have a client, now what?
Besides social media, what are other ways I can attract clients?
How can I make sure I’m making an impact?
What are the administrative tools I can use?
Ugh, how much should I charge for coaching?
How do I become a great coach?
You may have a ton of questions before you even get started, let alone support yourself long-term. The solution to finding these answers often looks something like this:
STEP 1
Filter through your anxiety to find the question you need to ask.
STEP 6
Repeat
(only this time you also try posting it in a Facebook Group and no one responds.)
STEP 5
Put the question aside for awhile.
STEP 2
Type the question into Google.
STEP 3
Scroll through all of the ads to a million "answers".
STEP 4
Feel your anxiety rise again.

Through monthly focus, we’ll take dedicated action towards your individual goals.
Whenever you have a question or an idea or are curious to learn more about something, instead of getting lost in the distractions of Facebook, Google, YouTube, or TikTok, you’ll be able to log into your Goal to Coach community and know impactful conversations await.
THIS is where growth happens - and with a dash of fun for good measure!
The journey towards becoming and starting a coaching practice is overwhelming, a constant racket of not feeling good enough. Your presence as a facilitator and teacher has been inspiring

“Today was a really long day for me, but I’m so glad I could still be a part of the workshop! Thanks for putting it together, Deanna! There was a lot of great info there, and I’m excited to sit down this weekend to put together a list of people I can reach out to soon for my ideal client interviews.”
~ Scott Waldrup
This was such a great workshop -- thank you, Deanna Moffitt, for putting together an informative and engaging session. I finally feel less "sweaty" when I think about niche-ing! I'm excited to interview women to help me focus on who I serve and how I can reach them. Thanks again!
~ Sheryl Bird
“I 100% recommend working with Chris. The experience is warm, engaging, enlightening, and so supportive. When I felt like I was living someone else's life, Chris gave me a place to be myself. A place that felt safe to figure out what I needed and to build the courage to go for it.”
~ Laura B.
I love how Chris brings ideas and tools to the table. She allows room for us to explore and be curious. I felt so safe, and that allowed me to dive deep and actually follow through! I was excited to get to the next layer!!
~ Marla Barrett
Deanna, the session was truly great! Really great and relevant content!
~ AnnMarie Santamarina
Chris helped me to visualize my coaching journey as birthing a new baby. Once I was able to pinpoint where I was in the conceive - pregnancy - birth - newborn - toddler - child phase, I was able to adjust my expectations and tend to my insecurities in a more constructive way.

Well, first off it’s not on Facebook! So, there’s no cutting through a jungle of distractions to get to the community. In addition, Goal to Coach is built with the intention and purpose of continued learning and connection.
The underlying philosophy behind Goal to Coach is that learning doesn’t come from just one source. Our goal is to elevate the wisdom of everyone in the group, giving you opportunities to share your experiences, celebrate what’s working, and deconstruct your lessons learned.

(but I’m on a budget)
When we say that we understand, we mean we UNDERSTAND. Deanna and Chris have invested thousands of dollars in mentorship, coaching, and business development. Our accountants are constantly shocked by how much goes into our education budgets! y. We wanted to price Goal to Coach in a way that makes it easy for you to say yes, while also understanding the value you'll receive within the community.
We also know how freaking hard it is to try and do this all alone.

This community only works when people are engaged. In other words, you have to be willing to bring something to the party! The requirement is for you to recognize the investment you're making in yourself and be ready to participate.
This is not a place to get clients.
It’s a place to learn how to get clients
In GtC we practice coaching over consulting. You won’t need to solve anyone’s problems, and please know that everyone is on their own journey of learning and discovery. It’s a community of coaches and so we go with the rule that there’s no coaching without a client. We ask permission before sharing our insights and asking questions.
We do not pitch our services unless someone is asking for them. This is a safe community.
You have to know the moment you join that you belong in the community. When you know you belong somewhere you show up with different energy. There’s nothing to prove, nothing to hide, nothing to defend, and nothing to protect.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does it mean to be in a community? is this like Slack or Facebook?
What we’re creating in Goal to Coach takes the best of Slack and Facebook and adds to it! It’s private like Slack so you don’t have to be on Facebook or other social media if that’s not your thing. But it feels more like Facebook on steroids. So you can post images, gifs, and videos with your posts and be creative when engaging. We can also create private groups within the group for things like masterminds, book clubs, and accountability groups.
How much time do I need to dedicate to the community?
That’s entirely up to you! A community thrives through its members so our hope is that everyone who chooses to join Goal to Coach is coming committed to their growth as well as supporting the growth of others. So you can choose to come to the live Zoom offerings or watch the recordings. Or engage through posts and questions. Or perhaps you’ll offer up your own way to give back to the community!
When are the live calls scheduled?
Workshops alternate morning, afternoon and evening delivery times, providing as many opportunities as possible for you to catch it live. All workshops and group coaching sessions will be recorded and saved on the platform for later review.
Well, first off we get it, we’ve been there. Over the last decade, we've invested in our share of online programs. Some were worth it and some definitely were not.
If you have a question that we haven’t yet answered yet, feel free to send one of us an email.

But let’s get to the real deal. We know that it’s scary to think that your dream of coaching might not be possible. That for some reason you might not be able to make it work. You want it so bad, but what if you can’t make enough money doing the thing you love?
We’re telling you, that negative talk is the thing that’s going to lead to disappointment.
You need a support system that isn’t only well-meaning loved ones, who might not fully understand what you’re doing.
In fact, most likely your friends don’t want to hear about your launch strategy, your fears about putting yourself out there, or the nuances between one-on-one vs. group coaching.
You know you need to do something different, isn’t that why you spent the time reading this entire webpage?
Well, as the Long Island Medium, Theresa Caputo says, “there are no coincidences.” You’ve been looking for help, and you didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it. Well friend, here is your sign. This is it. Weknow and believe at our core, that together, we can do this.
We’ve Got Your Back
If you’ve read this far, we want to share something that feels really vulnerable.
Both of us have held a core false narrative of “I’m alone” that has been driving our behavior for years. That story led both of us to hang out on the fringe of groups, not fully engage, and make lots of excuses about why we didn't belong. In both our cases, our behaviors were based on the story we told ourselves.
Deanna: Through my own personal development work and work with The Rewrite, I’ve discovered that the “I’m alone” story was hampering my personal and professional growth. And more importantly, it is not my truth.
Chris: I did the lone wolf thing for too many years, thinking that was the only way. It’s actually Lumia that taught me that none of us were meant to do life alone. I took that guidance to heart, and as a result my world (and business!) have expanded beyond what I thought was possible even just a few years ago.
The Goal to Coach Community was born out of inspiration. Truly, we put the question to our hearts: “how can we best serve?” The answer we got back was to create a learning community for new coaches. It was what we needed when we graduated so many years ago. And building and being in a community is the antidote to feeling alone.
We both love serving new coaches. Between us, we teach eight classes at Lumia Coaching School. We’ve coached hundreds of students, and watching them find their wings and positively impact their clients makes us feel like a couple of proud Mama Bears.
Building a coaching business is like a cross-country road trip. You’ll go through lots of different terrains and experience a myriad of weather conditions, but it is always easier and better to do it with friends who you can laugh with along the way.
